[binary] is the studio of Jakub Němec. For 25 years it has designed, built and run websites, e-shops, client portals and visual identities — for companies that want a partner for years, not for a single project.
Clients have one partner who leads the project from analysis to long-term operation, backed by a network of long-standing collaborators — designers, photographers, developers and specialists — assembled to fit each project.
The core of the work is analysis, data modelling and architecture. Where a proven off-the-shelf solution is enough, [binary] recommends and integrates it; custom code comes in where ready-made solutions fall short. The technology is chosen to fit the project.
Partnerships often last fifteen or twenty years. For the housing cooperative BD Pragostav, [binary] created four generations of its website and two generations of its client portal; the eDomovník portal is now used by tens of thousands of people through property managers across the Czech Republic. Since 2020, large international projects delivered through a partner agency have been added.
